LIGHT
The Light sculpture period emerged with the dawn of the new millennium, reflecting Rosario’s desire to embrace the 21st century with optimism and explore a novel medium. Transitioning to resin and light, Guerrero created striking transparent sculptures filled with various shapes, often incorporating bubble wrap to produce unique light effects. Her innovative approach led to numerous commissioned pieces, some weighing up to 3 tons and standing 5 meters tall, for private clients and architects worldwide. Many of these works are prominently displayed in public spaces and restaurants across Mexico City. As Guerrero, now in her 80s, can no longer undertake such physically demanding projects, the remaining pieces from this prolific 20-year period have become especially rare and valuable.
